Comments from guests who have
stayed there Robert Paolino - NY - "You taught me well" Kent Stidham - OR -
"Absolutely,
Send her my name and address, NOW!!! Geeesh, the way you asked it in your note,
it was as if it was a bother or something...KENNY...anything I can EVER do for
you I would not EVER Rene Cooper - MA - "I'd
be delighted to contribute a few comments! On
facilities and accommodations:
The ashram is simple, clean and peaceful. An ideal environment for introspection
and concentration. The emphasis on healthful eating and lifestyle assists in
clear thinking and helps me to focus on my core purpose in being there:
attention, awareness, clarity, reflection. On Swami Jayananda: Ken has a unique ability to translate mystical and
esoteric ideas into language that anyone can grasp. He wisely and
compassionately challenges people to assess themselves, confront themselves, to
gain greater insight into themselves. He is wise, yet practical-he encourages
the student to live in the present, to focus on current issues and actions to
improve NOW. I found my time with Ken challenging, fun, and inspiring, and I
continue to incorporate his teachings in my daily activities."
Special notes (any other
comments you would like to add): Primary purpose of center:
Bridge the gap between ancient religion and modern science. Educate
participants in human development and provide them with the methodology to
unlock this hidden potential. Kenneth Toy (Swami Jayananda) says " The
eight essential stages of Kriya Yoga are a complete holistic health management
system that translate into a path of action, a path of knowledge, and a path of
devotion. These lifestyle strategies are designed to initiate a process in
psychological/spiritual development that unfolds in three phases: prepersonal or
unconscious awareness, personal or self-conscious awareness and transpersonal or
super-conscious awareness. Total consciousness is the goal of Yoga."
Initiation of this process in psychological/spiritual development serves as
solution to common problems in today's world. History of Organization: Style of Yoga offered: Yoga Philosophy of teachers: |
